The event that held on November 30, 2025, they collaborated to offer Minggu Lunch with Kayu Manis, a modern twist on the well-known Sunday meal custom. brought together the creative visions of Chef Rachmad Hidayat, Head Chef at Kaum Jakarta, and Chef Benvi from Kayu Manis, because of their shared love of discovering regional Indonesian flavors. The two chefs were reimaging dishes from Maluku, Aceh, West Java, and Bali in ways that are both modern and deeply ingrained in tradition. The menu, created especially for this Minggu Lunch, demonstrated how culinary craftsmanship can bring together a variety of regional ingredients and methods.
A live keroncong performance by Balle Keroncong enhanced the experience, adding coziness and nostalgia to the afternoon. This musical accompaniment captures the essence of the occasion and serves as a call to pause, enjoy significant flavors, and recognize Indonesia's rich cultural diversity. As guests assembled before the start of a new week, it was more than just a lunch; it was an ambiance designed to foster comfort and connection.
